A/R: SSNIT Engages Traders on SEED Project
Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) Has Extended its Self-employed Enrollment Drive (SEED) Campaign To The Streets Of Obuasi In The Ashanti Region.
The Initiative aims to encourage Self-employed workers to join the Pension Scheme, Securing their financial future.
As part of the 2024 Second Half– Year SEED Activating dubbed” Operation- A- Thon, SSNIT officials to the principal streets of Obuasi to create awareness about the benefits of SEED.
The engaged market women and other Self-employed individuals.
Mr. Joseph Poku, Chief Actuary for SSNIT, urged Self-employed individuals to enroll in the pension scheme, emphasising the SEED is designed to provide a reliable retirement package.
However Traders and Self-employed individuals who participated in the walk praised SSNIT for educating them on the benefits of SEED, they encouraged others to enroll and secure future.
