B/R Reduce the Expenditures for Political Campaigns and assist us with Textbooks and Enhanced Infrastructure – Namasua RC Students to Politicians
Students of Namasua R/C Basic School in the Berekum East Municipality of the Bono Region have implored political figures and leaders within the country to curtail the expenditures of their campaigns and other political activities, and instead allocate some of their funds towards the infrastructural development of the school and the provision of textbooks to enhance effective teaching and learning.
The students voiced this appeal during the donation of 50 dual desks to the school by the 1985 alumni group, in support of its advancement.
They observed that they are deprived of essential learning materials such as textbooks, computers, and adequate infrastructure. Consequently, they urged politicians to curtail their campaign expenditures and redirect those funds to support the aforementioned school, thereby enhancing the teaching and learning experience.
Elder Sampson Takyi, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the 1985 alumni of Namasua R/C Basic School, during the presentation of the 50 desks on behalf of the entire year group, remarked that proper sitting posture and a conducive environment significantly contribute to the learning process. This realization prompted the group to support their Alma Mater with furniture after observing the deficit, thereby enhancing the students’ learning experience.
The Headteacher of the school, Mr. Abraham Hinneh, on behalf of the entire teachers, expressed their profound gratitude to the 1985 year group for their generosity and humanitarian efforts.
Mr. Hinneh revealed that the school is in dire need of textbooks, computers, and other educational resources, he earnestly requested the group to consider further support for the school by providing computers, textbooks, pens, and other essential educational materials to enhance teaching and learning.
