A/R Five People Perish After Falling into Owabi River

Information reaching Bismark Mensah of Angel Tv indicates that five people have reportedly died after their car fell into Owabi River in between Akropong and Dabaa in the Atwima Nwabiagya North District of the Ashanti Region.

The sad incident happened this morning, October 29, 2024. when the private car (family car) that been driven by the wife, containing a man of about 40years, wife, about 30years, their 2-children together with 2 other family friends got drawn in the river.

Presiding Member for Atwima Nwabiagya North, Hon. Bobie Ansah when confirming the sad incident to Sofoba confirmed that all the five persons they were able to pull from the drawn vehicle were dead and have been conveyed to Mt. Sinai Mortuary at Taabre while a search for one of the children of the female driver is still on going in the river.

He said the police are yet to meet the families of the perished soles.
