The Category Lead for Cereals at Promasidor Ghana,Cereals at Promasidor Ghana, Miss Emmeline Tagoe, has urged Ghanaians to value locally made products over foreign ones.
According to her, the perception people have about locally made products should be changed. Adding that, by embracing our locally made products, it helps contribute to the progress and development of the country.
The Category Lead for Cereals at Promasidor Ghana continues that, by choosing locally made products, Ghanaians can support the country’s manufacturing sector, create jobs, and boost economic development.
She stressed that Promasidor Ghana has been at the forefront of producing affordable and nutritious food products such as Cowbell, twisco, onga, yumvita, miksi and many others. It is in the company’s interest to provide the best quality products to Ghanaians and the world.
Miss Emmeline Tagoe made this call when Promisador Ghana held a workout exercise and health education on breast cancer and menstrual hygiene at Kumasi Girls Senior High School.
She emphasised the need for the government to consider private companies in tax exemptions, especially on import duty, as that is contributing to the collapse of many industries.
“Since the country does not have manufacturing companies of its own, which could assist or supply private industries with the needed materials, it would be best if the government can substantiate some taxes on materials imported from other countries”, she stated.
The Category Lead for Cereals at Promasidor Ghana, Miss Emmeline Tagoe, explained that workout exercise and health education will be a continuous thing between the company and the school.
These students are the customers of the company who enjoy our quality products on the market, saying that with this partnership between them, it will help boost their productivity as they will continue to purchase and consume their products in years to come.
