Members of Small scale miners in the Asante Akim Central municipality in the Ashanti region has expressed confidence in the measures and policies of the new patriotic party Flagbearer Dr. Alhaji Mahmoud Bawumia, according to them, his policy on mining licensing regime as well as mineral development Bank aimed at supporting small scale miners to acquire loans to invest in responsible mining is a game changer for that industry hence declaring their support to him.

emphasized on the importance of small scale mining to the country’s economy, adding that any government that has the vision to prioritize the development of the mining sector rather than thinking of banning it their full support .
The Vice President Alhaji Dr Mahmoud Bawumia during an interaction with stakeholders in the Asante Akim Central Constituency, highlighted his policies on sanitizing and investing in the mining sector particularly at the small scale level .
The NPP Presidential candidate, said his government will prioritize the development of railway in the country to help link many areas that require rail for haulage purpose especially the Boankra Inland port .
The NPP Flagbearer also interested with constituents of Konongo at rally before visiting Bosome Freho Constituency where he also has similar engagement with stakeholders and party supporters .
