W/R MCE Calms Tensions At Huniso And Akotom After Taxi Driver’s Death

Following the tragic death of John Donkoh, popularly known as “Chilling,” in Akotom, tensions flared between the communities of Huniso and Akotom.

Municipal Chief Executive Hon. Isaac Dasmani, Ph.D., and the Tarkwa Regional Police Command visited both towns to restore calm and prevent further conflict.

Several arrests have been made, and investigations are ongoing. Authorities urge both communities to stay peaceful and trust the legal process to bring justice. Our thoughts are with John’s family.
