C/R Ga South Over 500 Students Stranded As Contractor Locks Up Class Room Block At Galilea Over Non Payment of debt by Getfund

Teachers and students numbering Over 500 at Galilea M/A JHS in the Ga South municipality stranded as contractor locks up the class room over non payment of debts by Getfund.

According to source, Geos anointing construction limited awarded a contract from GETFUND to build six units class rooms block with officers in 2017 at Galilea basic school.

He said, the project was completed in 2018 but since it’s completion Gut funds administrators has failed to pay back his money

The contractor added that, Ga South municipal GES broke his padlocks without his approval and started using the facility since 2018 whiles his debt hasn’t been paid.

With this, the contractor this morning storm the school sack teachers, and students using the facility and lockup the place leaving students stranded.
