Mahama’s Silence On Insults By His Functionaries, A Disrespect To The People Of Ashanti Region

The NPP Communication Senior Team Member, Dr. Keskine Owusu Poku has called on former President Mahama and flagbearer of the NDC to render an apology to the people of Ashanti and some notable public figures in the region for recent insults by his communicators and persons known for campaigning for him.

Addressing the press, he explained that, not for once has the NDC flagbearer disassociated himself from the insults rendered by his people.

Additionally, they have taken note of an irresponsible and unfortunate stereotype of the people of the Ashanti region where they allege that there is an assassination plot on the life of John Mahama.

He continues that the Ashanti region is no uncertain terms and calls for a quick retraction and apology from these functionaries of John Mahama.

Calling on the flagbearer to also render a public apology to the good people of the Ashanti region for the acidic tongue of his functionaries.

Dr. Keskine Owusu Poku emphasised that the Ashanti region is arguably the most peaceful in Ghana, and our hospitality is unparalleled.

Therefore, calling on the police service to take an active interest in this matter and invite these functionaries of John Mahama for further and better particulars on their allegations of an assassination plot.

The NPP Communication Senior Team Member stressed that they had been informed of the busing of some Azorka boys to the Ashanti region to create mayhem on the day of the elections. Assuring the good people of Ghanaians of maximum security on December 7th as every ballot will be counted without fail.

Stating that any form of crude tactics and intimidation by these employed Azorka boys bused by the NDC to the Ashanti region would be opposed fiercely to allow peaceful elections.
