John Dramani Mahama who is not only a politician but also a person who is loyal to his fellow countrymen and women is set to return to the seat of government as the next president of Ghana after December,7.
He is 65 years old who led Ghana from 2012 – 2017 as the president.
JDM as he is popularly called is one of the West African country’s most experienced politician who has served at all levels of office, as an MP, deputy minister,minister,vice president and president.
Long before it became a career, politics played a significant role in the former president of Ghana,John Dramani Mahama’s childhood. He was just seven when his father, a government minister, was jailed during a military coup and later went to exile.
The ‘John’ Ghanaians want his return has won the heart of many African literary including Chinua Achebe and Ngugi Wa. His famous book entitled ” My first coup detat” court the attention of many publishers.
Political scorers whom in their choice of candidate to lead Ghana in 2025 want the return of John Dramani Mahama as the next president to rescue the citizens of Ghana from the horror administration of Akufo Addo and Bawumia.
Under his watch as the president of the Republic of Ghana,Ghanaians saw gargantuan projects and better standard of living but to his surprised the then opposition leader,Nana Akufo Addo and his party,NPP chanted corruption songs to vote him out from power.
Many people call him the man of the people but l call him man of wisdom. His love and commitment to rescue this country always stands tall among his competitors.
What interest most is choosing a dynamic woman as his running mate to give women voices in today’s politics.
During his turner as president from 2012 – 2017,here are few gargantuan projects left behind before leaving office. They are the University of Ghana medical center,Kwame Nkrumah interchange,E-blocks,Bank of Ghana hospital,Afari military hospital,Sewuah government hospital,Fomena government hospital and many others time can’t permit me to mention.
These according to this writer sound convincing to return John Dramani Mahama to the seat of government.
