74 Years Old Women Die In Fire Outbreak At Winneba 

On Saturday 7th December2024, at 0113hrs, a running call was received from Mr. Thomas Wobil with car registration number GN 7641 -13 at the Fire station at Winneba to report a fire outbreak at AG506 Ntakokofamu.

The crew was dispatched from the station at 0114hrs under the command of ADO II Attifa and arrived at the scene at 0116hrs.
Upon arrival at the scene, the crew observed that, the main doors were forced opened by the neighbors, so the crew had access to fight the fire in one of the bedroom in which Mrs Hannah Adaah 74 years of age was sleeping in.

The house and boys quarters were occupied by two children and three adults.

The other six bedrooms of the apartment, hall and kitchen were saved with the swift intervention by personnel of Winneba fire station.

The fire was finally extinguished at 0157hrs by the crew. At 0257hrs went for replenishing and returned to base at 0420hrs
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Items damaged: Louver blades window and the window net partially burnt and broken, personal belongings.
