The Ashanti Regional Workers union of the Ghana Water Company Limited are demanding justice for their regional manager as his house brought down by a private developer.

Government bungalow or apartment serving as residence for the Ashanti Regional manager of the Ghana Water Company Limited has been brought to the grounds by a private developer known as Mad. Rose and her unidentified workers.

Speaking to the media in a presser today in Kumasi, the workers expressed worries over the act by the developers known to them as Mad. Rose and co.

According to the Vice chairman of the workers union, Emmanuel Opkoti, their manager traveled to his hometown before the elections to vote but only to hear that his bungalow or apartment has been vandalized and brought to the grounds by the said Mad. Rose and worker in his absence.

“We are by this presser calling on the outgoing and the incoming governments to take a swift action for justice to prevail”.

Mr. Opkoti added that they (workers) don’t want to take the laws into their own hands and take action or reciprocate.
