The 0ver 20,000 NPP Members Who Defected To NDC In Ashanti Region Congratulate President Elect

The over 20,000 people who are known members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), and defected to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have congratulated the new president elect, H.E John Dramani Mahama on his decisive win in the just ended general elections.

These members announced their defection at Suame -Magazine prior to the Parliamentary and Presidential elections.

The members said, they took decision based on their need for improved livelihood.

Leader of the group *Mohammed Issa Ababio*,(Mallam Issah) as affectionately called said, the president elect needed to win the election to save Ghanaians from the severe economic hardship by the New Patriotic Party government.

“We would like to express our warm congratulatory message to the president elect of the NDC, John Mahama on his impressive victory. He said,

Despite all the challenges he went through, God through Ghanaians have chosen him to rescue us from hardship we are going through.

“We never feel ashamed after our defection to support him and believe that he is going to deliver or fulfill his promises”.
