Piase Residents Demonstrate Over Lack Of Developmental Projects
The Youths and Leaders of Piase in the Bosomtwe District of the Ashanti Region have on December Friday, 20. demonstrated over abandoned projects in the community.
According to them, projects such as a health facility and nursing quarters started by the chiefs and the community members are long overdue for completion.
Speaking to journalists at a presser today, the youth leader, Benard Kusi Poku, stated the area is growing at a fast pace, and these facilities are needed to cater to the needs of the people.
“These projects started are long overdue for completion. Piase is developing so fast and needs these facilities to cater to the people’s needs” he said.
According to the contractor, Kuntanase Manhene Barima Ogyeabour Amankwaa Adunan has asked him to stop the projects of which we do not understand.
He therefore appealed to the Kuntanase Manhene Barima Ogyeabour Amankwaa Adunan to allow the contractor to complete the projects.
Meanwhile, the residents of piase said the halt of this project is affecting the development in the community.
