Kasoa Saw Millers And Timber Sellers Association Appealing To Forestry Commission Over Delayance Of Document And Loads

The Chairman for Kasoa Saw millers and Timber sellers Associatiion Mr. Ofori Addo has appealed to the government through the Ghana Nationdocumentatio Forestry Commission to fast track documentations with Timber Industry Development Division (TIDD) to make their business easy and convenient.

According to the chairman, timber sellers work directly with TIDD for all documentations before moving from the bush to the market but forestry commission will delay them for days without tangible reason hence it will be prudent for Ghana Forestry commission to consult TIDD to fast track the process.

He mentioned this to the media yesterday when the Kasoa Saw millers and timber sellers association held a health walk through the principal streets of Kasoa.

Moreover, the vice chairman for Kasoa saw millers and timber sellers association Nana Obrikafo Kwaku Gyebu III has also added his voice to the appeal indicating their challenges in their business which needs government intervention.
