Fear God And Be Fire Safety Conscious To Save Properties From Fire Outbreaks – GNFS To Ghanaians

The Bono East Regional Command of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) has urged Ghanaians to cultivate a reverence for God and to abhor sinful behaviors, as God guides us into the year 2025 and beyond.

Speaking to Angel News during the Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols organized by the Bono East Regional Command of the Ghana National Fire Service, ACFO2 Rev. Naomi Adubea Sarpong, the Bono East Regional Fire Commander, emphasized the significance of revering God.

She remarked that, given the Harmattan season, it is imperative to maintain a vigilant awareness of fire safety to prevent conflagrations that could devastate properties.

She further implored farmers to refrain from using fire in their agricultural activities for the remainder of the year until the prohibition on fires is lifted.

For his part, the Kintampo Municipal Fire Commander, DO2 Mr. Dominic Prempeh, seized the opportunity to admonish drivers and other road users to exercise heightened vigilance during this festive season.

He emphasized the importance of regular vehicle maintenance and urged drivers to abstain from speeding and overtaking to ensure a safe and accident-free journey.

He also advised passengers against pressuring drivers to hasten their journey to reach their destination.
