Worawora Welcome New Paramount Chief After A Decade Of Leadership Void 

After a decade-long wait, the Worawora Traditional Council in the Biakoye District of the Oti has finally installed a new paramount chief, Nana Yaw Sarfro Baah III, bringing a renewed sense of hope and unity.

The installation ceremony brought together celebration by traditional rites, cultural displays, and the presence of traditional rulers and residents from the area.

Queen mother of Worawora Traditional Council Nana Abena Sarfowaa Awerewa, during the installation urged the newly installed chief Nana Sarfro Yaw III to prioritize peace and development in the area.

According to the Queen, Worawora Traditional Council has faced numerous challenges over the past ten years without a paramount chief to guide them.

She noted that it is now time for the people to come together under a leadership to foster peace and thrive development initiatives that will benefit all.

Nana Sarfowaa underscored that the absence of a paramount chief had left a leadership vacuum in Worawora, leading to division and lack of direction in the area.

The new chief Nana Yaw Sarfro Baah, whose identity has been met with widespread approval, is expected to bridge these gaps and restore harmony among the residents.

Nana Awerewa stressed the importance of collaboration, urging the chief to engage with various stakeholders, including youth groups, women and local businesses, to create a comprehensive development plan.

The community members are optimistic that the new leadership will usher in a new era of prosperity.

With a focus on education, healthcare, and infrastructure, the paramount chief is expected to spearhead initiatives that will uplift the living standards of the people of Worawora.

Speaking in an interview with Sanahene of Worawora Nana Kwaku Aborah III, also urged the people to support the new leader, highlighting that unity is essential for progress and peace.

He noted that the area cannot develop with division and conflict, emphasizing the importance of collaboration and harmony in fostering development.
