Fire Outbreak Scrape Yard In Ashaiman And Burnt  Several Containers 

Several containers in a scrape yard at Ashaiman near the China Mall have caught fire, destroying several properties.

The inferno rendered almost 17 containers burnt, aside from other properties, a wealth of millions, but there were no casualties.

A combined fire service team deployed from Tema and Ashaiman has managed to salvage the situation and bring the fire under control.

The cause of the fire, according to DOIII Ebenezer Yenzu, is yet to be known, as investigations have commenced into the cause of the fire.

He also advised dealers of scrape yards and companies to be mindful of the change of weather.
