Fear grips traders at Agormanya market in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality of the Eastern Region over securing lockable stores built under the Secondary City Projects after change a of government.

In an interview with a former assembly member at Agormanya South electoral area who doubles as a member of the Market Committee Phillip Batsa noted that, the NDC party in the constituency is alleged to have been telling the constituents who are interested in securing the lockable stores not to secure as there is a change of government which they will be affected after swearing in the NDC government.
According to him, this has prevented a lot of traders to secure the stores been commissioned recently by the local government and decentralization minister
He indicated that monies to secure the lockable stores are paid directly into the accounts of the Lower Manya Krobo Municipal assembly so therefore what the NDC party allegedly telling their constituents are untrue and should be disregarded.
Speaking in an interview with the Queen mothers of the Agormanya market, they noted that they will engage the MCE and other authorities to see how best they can help traders who are interested in the stores for their businesses despite change of government so therefore all traders interested should exercise patience.
