Hope For Prisoners And Social Justice Put Smiles on Aged And Needy Face

A Non Governmental organization, Hope for Prisoners and Social Justice has put smiles on the faces of the aged and the needy in the Ejura-Sekyedumasi district of the Ashanti Region.

The NGO distributed bags of rice to over 200 aged and the needy during this Christmas festivities in over six electoral areas within the Ejura-Sekyedumasi district of the Ashanti Region.

Speaking to the media, the C.E.O for the NGO, Nana Kwaku Duah, confirmed that he finds delight in giving alms to the needy, poor, widows and anyone in need of any form of support in life.

“We (the NGO) don’t give alms only after the end of every year, but on any day or anytime we come across such people.”

He therefore added that as far as the organization have support from foreign donors, they will continue to extend their support to the needy especially the aged, prisoners and the less privileged people in the country.

On behalf of the assembly members for the six benefited electoral areas, Hon. Kwame Boakye, assembly man for Piaso electoral area thanked the NGO for their kind gesture.

Expressing their gratitude to the Hope for Prisoners and SocialJustice, some Beneficial aged people thanked the NGO for their kindness and putting smiles on their faces.
