The Chief of Gomoa Bankyease in the Gomoa East District of Central Region, Nana Kwame Akyene Annan II has appealed to the Government, NGOs and individuals to as a matter of urgency come and support them with potable drinking water since the whole community drinks water with animals.
This according to the Traditional Ruler, most residents fall sick and visit the hospital on daily basis due to the contaminated water they drink.
On the other hand, Nana Kwame Akyene Annan II noted that, the community is growing but power extension has become a major challenge facing the community as most criminals activities is ongoing, he added.
He made this pronouncements to Angel news reporter Opanyin Darko during their 2024 maiden Talented Festival for the community.
On education, the traditional leader hinted that their wards travel couple of miles before attending school in Awutu Breku hence calling on government to provide school infrastructure in the area.
