The Church Of Pentecost Donates 𝐆𝐇𝐂𝟏𝟒𝟎𝐊 To Cover The Entire Cost Of Heart Surgery Of A Member

The Bibiani District Pastor, Ps. Peter Mensah Awitor, and the District Executives gave Mr. Alexander Agyemang and Mrs. Portia Opoku, the parents of Elis Akyede Abrafi Agyepong, who was diagnosed with a hole in her heart disease, a sum of 136,527 Cedis (Ghc136,527.00) on Saturday, January 4, 2025.

This was consistent with the church’s response to the parents’ request for assistance with the surgery of a patient who had a hole in his heart.

The medical professionals recommended that surgery be done in India because the kid was diagnosed with a complex heart condition.

An estimated eight thousand, five hundred and eight seven dollars ($8,587) was spent on the travel and the surgery.

The church was not an exception to the parents’ plea to corporate institutions since they were overwhelmed by the expense.

To their greatest surprise, the family was given the cheque by Pastor Peter Mensah Awitor on behalf of the Church of Pentecost Chairman, Aps. Eric Nyamekye, National Executives, the Area Head, Aps. E. O. K. Ofosu, Sefwi Bekwai Area Executives, and Bibiani District Executives.

The pastor also noted that the Headquarters, Sefwi Bekwai Area, Bibiani District, and Emmanuel Assembly, where the parents fellowship, contributed to pay for the entire expense of the procedure.

The National Chairman, Sefwi Bekwai Area Head, Bibiani District Pastor, and the entire group were thanked by the parents for the gift. They were optimistic that the funds would be used to offset all debts incurred during the surgery.

The District Pastor was accompanied by Elder Emmanuel Owusu, District Executive Memb; Elderer Ernest Kumi Aboagye, District Finance Chairman; Elderer Again Mensah, District Secreta; Elderer Nicholas Andoh, and Elder Efa.
