Change Of Gov’t: Ashanti Regional NDC Executives Demoan State Of Infrastructures At Coordinating Council

he Ashanti Regional executives of the NDC have expressed worries over the poor state of government infrastructures at the Regional Coordinating Council.

Today, January 10, 2025. the Ashanti Regional Executives of the National Democratic Congress, NDC toured the regional coordinating council to see for themselves the current state of the government infrastructures, especially the presidential bungalow, the regional minister’s bungalow, and others.

Seeing the bushy compound, and the buildings that are left to rot, the regional chairman for the NDC, Andrews Nana Kwesi, expressed great worries.

He attributed the situation to what he described as the laccadesical attitude of the former regional minister, Hon. Simon Osei Mensah.

“Aside the bushy compound, buildings abandoned, other interior equipments have been bolted away by unknown people.”

Nana Kwesi also added that all those who were in charge of the upkeep of those infrastructures are going to be chased and if possible, be prosecuted”.

On his part, the Ashanti Regional Secretary of the NDC, Frank Amoakohene, also called for the prosecution of all those who were in charge of the premise and the state properties.
