B5 Plus Group Workers Embark Massive Demonstration Against Company Over Poor Conditions Of Service

A large group of workers from B5 Plus Limited, a leading iron and steel manufacturing company in Ghana, staged a massive demonstration against the company today.

The workers, who are based at the company’s branch in Buoho, Afigya Kwabere South of the Ashanti region, are protesting against the company’s alleged failure to provide them with fair salaries and adequate healthcare benefits.

The demonstration, which started early this morning, caused a significant disruption to traffic flow in the area.

The workers, who were chanting slogans and singing, were addressed by their leaders, who cataloged the company’s alleged failures and demanded immediate action to address their concerns.

The workers who spoke to Sompa FM Bawah Baidoo calls on the removal of their Boss Mr Denish and also call on labour commission to come to their aid.

As the demonstration came to a close, the workers vowed to continue their agitation until their demands are met. The company’s management has yet to respond to the workers’ demands.
