Kasoa Ofaarko circuit court presided over by his lordship Mr Isaac Ohenaba-Kuffour has sentence a 32 year old Yussif Salifu and ex convict to 15 years for robbery at millennium city in the Gomoa East district in the central region.
According to sources, the suspect Yussif Salifu was Okada rider at millennium city and on Friday last week he robbed a 27 year old nurse working at millennium city clinic while she was at the Bus stop waiting for taxi around 7:30pm
The suspect snatch her hand bag and her phone and also assaulted her in an attempt to prevent Yussif Salifu from taken away her bag. According to police report, the complainant raised an alarm and the suspect was arrested.
He pleaded guilty with the charges and was convicted for 15 years.
