Amansie West District: A 3year Old Boy Found Dead At Galamsey Site

Information on our desk from Atobease electoral area,a farming and mining community in the Amansie West district of Ashanti region indicates that,a three(3) year old boy Kofi on Friday morning at about 5am found dead at a nearby Galamsey Site.

According to the source,the said 3 year boy was in search after they made official announcement on the local information center.

The Ghana Police service, Asuonwin Police station has launched investigation to identify the root cause.And body is currently at Nkawie government hospital for optosy.

Speaking on behalf of the deceased family,the Assembly member for the area,Hon Samuel Yeboah humbly appealed to all mining operators to make reclamation their priority.
