The Ashanti Regional Minister designate Dr Frank Amoakohene and Ashanti Regional executives of National democratic congress NDC on Monday visited Obuasi victims at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital and Obuasi Government hospital injured after violent clash between Anglogold security & small scale Miners after visiting the hospital.
Dr frank Amoakohene said government has called for immediate investigation of the matter as security agencies have been directed to restore peace in the community and also ensure such occurrence is not repeated.
The National Chairman of Ghana Small-Scale Miners Association Mr Sampson Kofi Wiredu said the government need to do proper investigation to brought the proprieter into books.
