Network For Assin Development Calls For Ministerial Slot

Over the years, Assin land has been a significant contributor to the development of Ghana, providing valuable natural resources and human capital. Despite this, the District has often been overlooked when it comes to key appointments and allocations.

The Network for Assin Development is calling on President John Dramani Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to recognize the region’s contributions and grant Assin a ministerial slot. This appointment would not only be a well-deserved recognition of Assin’s importance but also a crucial step towards ensuring the region’s continued development and growth.

We believe that Assin has been cut out for development, and it is time for the government to demonstrate its commitment to the region’s progress. A ministerial appointment would provide Assin with a strong voice in government, enabling the region to advocate for its needs and interests more effectively.

Furthermore, a ministerial slot would bring numerous benefits to Assin, including increased investment, job creation, and improved infrastructure. It would also serve as a motivation for the youth of Assin, demonstrating that their region is valued and recognized by the government.

We urge President Mahama and the NDC to fulfill their promise to the people of Assin North, made during the bye-elections, to maintain their MP and offer a ministerial appointment. We believe that this appointment would be a significant step towards ensuring Assin’s continued development and growth.

The Network for Assin Development is committed to advocating for the interests of the people of Assin and ensuring that their voices are heard. We will continue to monitor the situation and push for the recognition and development that Assin deserves.
