Update!!!NPP Youth Organizer And Polling Station Secretary Appear In Court Over Violent Clash

A violent clash broke out between Samuel Kwadwo Debrah, also known as “Last Two,” the constituency youth organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), and Frank Kwaku Baah, the polling station secretary, last Sunday, February 2, 2025.
The altercation occurred during a meeting with a section of the NPP’s committee, which was formed to investigate the party’s defeat in the recent elections.
The meeting, which was held at a local venue, was intended to discuss the party’s performance and identify areas for improvement.
However, the discussion turned heated, and the two men got into a physical altercation.
The case was brought before the Twifo Hemang District Court, presided over by His Lordship Maxwell Ofori Kpodo. Kwadwo Debrah, the Constituency Youth Organizer, was charged with two counts: assault and causing harm, while Frank Kwaku Baah, the Polling Station Secretary, was charged with assault.
Both parties pleaded not guilty with an explanation, and the Counsel for the first accused person, Kwadwo Debrah, argued that his client was innocent of the charges. He, therefore, requested bail, which was granted by the presiding judge.
Kwadwo Debrah was released on 60,000ghc bail with three sureties, while Frank Kwaku Baah was granted 20,000ghc bail with two sureties.
The presiding judge also ordered both men to appear in court on February 13, 2025, for a proper hearing of the case.
