Ashanti Council Of State Elections: Nana Nkansah Boadu Demands Change Of Venue

The camp of one of the strongest contestants of the Council of States in the Ashanti Region have strongly demanded for a change of venue for the rerun of the elections.

The electoral commission of Ghana has slated for the rerun of the council of state elections in Ashanti Region on Monday February 17, 2025.

Prior to this, the camp of Nana Nkansah Boadu have urged the electoral commission to change the venue to ensure a smooth process.

Spokesperson for Nana Nkansah Boadu, Nana Obuor Sika, in a presser stated that should their demand or plea unconsidered they shall advice themselves.

Again, they are requesting for the military’s protection instead of the Ghana Police Service for a tight security.
