Jealous Lover Allegedly Sets Lover’s Children  Ablaze  Over Break Up Request

A jealous lover, identified as Joseph Richard, has allegedly set fire to the room of his girlfriend after she requested a breakup.

The unfortunate incident occurred at dawn around 3 AM at Axim in the Western Region of Ghana while the woman’s children were sleeping.

The victims, Joseph Ben, 16, and Richlove Asiedua Yeboah, 3, have been referred to the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital for treatment.

Speaking to some eyewitnesses at the scene, our Western Regional Correspondent, Nana Fynn, reported that Richard Joseph is being accused of deliberately setting the room ablaze in an attempt to kill the children.

This act is believed to be motivated by Bettye Herman’s decision to end their relationship following threats from the suspect’s mother.

Relatives of the victims are calling on the police and the general public to assist in apprehending the suspect.
