A 28-year-old man has died ,and others have been injured and hospitalised after an illegal mining pit,commonly known as galamsey, collapsed on Monday, January 17,at wasa Nkyease,in the wasa amenfi East municipality of the Western Region.
The deceased name has not been identified.the others were saved but sustained injuries.
The Injured individuals are currently receiving treatment at the wasa Akropong Government hospital.
