Deepa Life Bible Church Offers To Revamp TVET Education In Ghana

The General Overseer of Deepa Life Bible Church (DLBC) of Ghana, Pastor Dr. E.K. Tumsiah, has called on the government to involve the church in the country’s educational system, particularly in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET).

According to Pastor Dr. Tumsiah, DLBC is willing to boost Ghana’s education system, citing the church’s extensive experience in education.

He noted that DLBC owns several educational institutions in Ghana and has the expertise to equip the TVET education system.

Pastor Dr. Tumsiah made these remarks during the dedication of a new church building at Tetrefu in the Asokwa Municipality of the Ashanti Region.

Additionally, Pastor Dr. Tumsiah emphasized that teaching is a calling that requires training, rather than just a profession.

He expressed concerns that many teachers lack the calling and instead pursue teaching as a last resort.

“The church has a crucial role to play in shaping the education sector,” Pastor Dr. Tumsiah stated. “We are committed to supporting the government’s efforts to improve education in Ghana.”

The church’s offer to support TVET education in Ghana is seen as a positive step towards improving the country’s education system.

TVET education is critical in providing young people with the skills and training needed to secure employment and drive economic growth.

As the government continues to work towards improving the education sector, partnerships with organizations like Deepa Life Bible Church could play a vital role in achieving this goal.
