Minirity Leader Calls For Government Support In Fight Against Chorela Outbreak In Effutu

The Minority leader of Parliament who doubles as member of Parliament for Effutu Constituency *Hon. Alexander Kwamena Afenyo Markin* popularly known as Effutu Osaahene has called on government to support the fight against chorela outbreak in Effutu.
The MP has support the health Directorate in Constituency with ¢100,000, pick ups, mattresses and other logistics to help fight the menace.
The legislator has commended the health workers in the Effutu for their efforts toward the fight against the menace.
The Member of Parliament has held stakeholders meeting with health workers, Assembly members, security agencies and the residents in the Municipality to educate the people on how to prevent themselves from getting the disease.
The Lawmaker also visited the Winneba Municipal Hospital to check on the chorela victims who are admitted to the hospital.
Speaking to Angel news Opanyin Darko, the Minority leader of Parliament appealed to the government to provide the health Directorate with logistics to help fight the chorela outbreak.
In addition to this, the Municipal Health Director Miss Paulette Brown said the health Directorate has embarked in house to house disinfection as part of the measures to clampdown the menace.
