Residents of Yaw-kobi Cry Over Poor Network, Lack Of Electricity And Inadequate Educational Facilities

Residents of Yaw-Kobi, a farming community in the Ahafo Ano South-East district of the Ashanti region, are lamenting over the numerous challenges they face, including poor network coverage, lack of electricity, and inadequate educational facilities.
The community, which relies heavily on farming, is struggling to make ends meet due to these difficulties.
According to the residents, the poor network coverage in the area is severely affecting their ability to communicate effectively with the outside world, making it difficult for them to access basic amenities and services.
The lack of electricity in the community is further exacerbating the situation, making it challenging for residents to power their homes and businesses.
In addition to these challenges, the community is also struggling with inadequate educational facilities.
Residents revealed that children in the community have to walk for approximately 2 miles to access the nearest school, which lacks proper infrastructure and resources.
This has resulted in a significant number of children dropping out of school, further perpetuating the cycle of poverty in the community.
Speaking to media, a resident of Yaw-Kobi, expressed his frustration with the situation.
He emphasized that the poor network, lack of electricity, and inadequate educational facilities are negatively impacting their livelihoods and urged the authorities to take immediate action to address these issues.
The residents of Yaw-Kobi are calling on the Ahafo Ano South East District Assembly and the Ashanti Regional authorities to intervene and provide solutions to their network, electricity, and educational challenges.
They believe that access to reliable communication, electricity, and quality education is essential for their socio-economic development and well-being.
