Approximately 88 acres of land, out of over 600 acres allocated by the central government for the Takoradi Air Force Base in the Western Region, have been taken over by encroachers.
This encroachment has severe repercussions on the military command’s operational measures, highlighting the need for urgent action to protect the base’s land and ensure the continued operational effectiveness of the Ghana Air Force.
