Hon. Emelia Arthur, Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture Development, has assured R&B Farms of government support to expand its operations and employ more youths. The goal is to reduce Ghana’s high youth unemployment rate.
Hon. Emelia Arthur, also Member of Parliament for Shama Constituency in the Western Region, made this known during a work visit to R&B Farms in the Gomoa Central District of the Central Region.
She praised R&B Farms for its significant contribution to Ghana’s socio-economic development.
She added that, the government, led by President John Dramani Mahama, is committed to supporting Ghanaian businesses, including R&B Farms, to provide jobs for youths within the next four years,” Hon. Emelia Arthur said.
Hon. Kwame Asare Obeng, Member of Parliament for Gomoa Central Constituency, reiterated the government’s commitment to creating jobs for young people.
He emphasized the government’s “resetting agenda” to make Ghana a better place for all.
Benjamin Turkson, Operation Director and co-partner of R&B Farms, urged the public to disregard rumors linking the farm to any political party.
