According to an inspection done by our reporter, BismarkMensah, some parts of the Kejetia Dubai market have broken, paints withered away, while some steels have been ignored to rust or rot.

During the inspection, Sofoba was hinted that, no maintenance exercise has been carried out on the project after almost 5-years of commissioning and opening the market for serious business commencement.

Speaking to Angel Tv News reporter Bismark Mensah during an interview, the Organizer for the Kejetia Combine Traders Association, Patricia Acheampong expressed her bitterness over the lack of maintenance exercise and what she described as laccadesical attitude by the management.

She also complained about numerous challenges facing them in the market while management have turned deaf ears to.

“We only have 30-years to operate in the market as traders and we have spent only 5-years but I am afraid we can’t handle this till the given years and the market could be closed for maintenance.

So I think it’s time for the management to immediately conduct maintenance exercise before it gets worsel”. She added.
