Toasehemaa Officially Introduced To Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and Asantehemaa Nana Konadu Yiadom III.

The Chief of Toase, Nana Yim Awere Ababio led by Bantamahene and Kronti Fokuo was on Monday 24th February 2025 officially presented the Queen Mother of Toase, Nana Amonu Gyamfua Serwaa Bonsu to His Royal Highness, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and Asantehemaa, Nana Konad Yiadom.

Nana Amonu Gyamfua Serwaa Bonsu was enstooled on September 30, 2024 by Nana Yim Awere Ababio after her predecessor, Nana Adwoa Kyeiwaa Adepa llI, passed on in 2023.

In a meeting at the Asanteman Council presided over by Asantehene to publicly outdoors the Queen Mother to Asanteman, was led by Nana Ayim Awere Ababio.

As custom demands, it requires that the introduction should be done at the Manhyia Palace for the public to know about her new traditional position as Queen Mother of Toase Traditional Council.

In a speech delivered by His Royal Highness Otumfuo Osei Tutu II admonishing Nana Amonu Gyamfua Serwaa Bonsu to see her new role as a service to God and Toase Traditional Council and work hand in hand with the chiefs and people of the community to foster peace, unity, and development in the area.

His Royal Highness reminded Nana Amonu Gyamfua Serwaa Bonsu that she still remains as a role model for women and a household to mothers hence, what’s expect of her do to ensure she succeeds, she has to done it.

“I dedicated my prayers and blessings to you in your new position” Otumfuo Osei Tutu II prayed.

Other Nananom also congratulated Nana Amonu Gyamfua Serwaa-Bonsu and urged her to build confidence in approaching her new role with the seriousness it diserves to mentor others using her leadership qualities and expertise to transform the community.

Her predecessor, Nana Adwoa Kyeiwaa Adepa III demise occured on 8th May, 2023 after she ruled for 40 years.
