Ekumfi Health Directorate Rate 80% Of 2024 Annual Review Performance

The newly health director of Ekumfi health Directorate Mrs Anuhu has applaud Ekumfi health Directorate for scoring 80% of annual review performance held at Ekumfi district of central region. Dated on Tuesday 25th February, 2025.

In an interview with Douglas Oyibo Amponsah Mrs Anuhu underscore that Ekumfi district has improved massively interms of health care as compared to 2022, 2023 respectively, of which they rated as 3.6 representing 58% performance.

And in 2024 it has jump up to 4 representing 80% as a highly performing district.

She also took the opportunity to address the issues of cholera outbreak within the country. Urging us all to keep our environment clean to prevent us from filthy and unhiegyenic conditions which may affect our health.

She then addressed some of the challenges facing Ekumfi Health centers. Among which includes inadequate staff, conferences hall, and others health care logistics.

Besides, Mr. Osabutey National Ambulance service officer of Ekumfi, lamented that even though Ekumfi health centers is doing their best in all way round, yet they have serious challenges which needs immediate attention to be taken.

In the likes of health emergency unit, low patronage system of Ekumfi health centers among residents. Appealing to those in authority to help curb such situations.

Finally, Mr Enoch Ocran health information officer for Awutu Sanya district also expressed his excitement about the good performance of Ekumfi health centers according to the 2024 review. And assured them to more.
