Sanitation Alert Chief Of Kwamang Warns Residents Against Indiscriminate Waste Disposal

Chief of Kwahu Kwamang, Nana Owusu Sasu Bediatuo II, has issued a strong warning to residents who dispose waste recklessly, urging them to cease the practice to avoid facing legal consequences.

This warning comes as sanitation issues have become a major challenge in Kwahu Kwamang, near Nkawkaw in the Kwahu West municipality.

The improper disposal of waste has led to the spread of diseases, and Nana Owusu Sasu Bediatuo II emphasized the need for responsible waste management practices. He made these remarks during a community-organized communal labor event, where residents came together to address the sanitation issues plaguing their community.

The Queen Mother of the town, Nana Adwoa Mirekua, added that the dumping site has become a significant problem, and they require machines from the municipal assembly to grade the site and improve sanitation in the community.
