Kumasi Adum Fire Outbreak Gender Minister Visits Scene

The minister of Gender, children and social protection, Hon Dr Agnes Naa Momo Lartey, has visited the Kumasi Adum fire outbreak scene.

A furious inferno raided several shops at the Kumasi Business Center, Adum Blue Light area on Friday, March 21, 2025 at early hours.

The Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Hon Dr Agnes Naa Momo Lartey after hearing the report paid a visit to the scene.

The Minister in an interview with the media pleaded with the traders not allow themselves for other to push any propaganda that will detail all efforts put in place by the Regional Minister and his team for the past three days.

She urged the traders to be focused and keep their eye on the ball in order to get this things resolved.

The Chief executive officer (CEO) of Microfinance and small loans Centre (MASLOC), Abigail Elorm Mensah, has reiterated government commitment to support victims of recent fire Outbreak in Kumasi.

She described the situation very disheartening but assured that the government through MASLOC and gender ministry will stand with them to be able to build back whatever they have lost
