Suspected Thief Lynched At Adum

A suspected thief has been killed by an irate mob at Adum Kumasi after accused of stealing a mobile phone.

The deceased, yet to identify was cornered on one side and brutally beaten despite his desperate appeals for compassion.

On Wednesday morning at Adum, the suspect robber was accused of attempting to steal a trader’s mobile phone.

According to some eyewitness, the traders noticed him trying to picked their phones, when they yelled thief’ everyone surged towards him,”

“Within minutes, a mob had gathered, and some people started attacking him. As the group grew, they began kicking and striking him with rods and stones.

He was bleeding and straining to stand continued to shout.

“I did not steal; save my life “I swear, I did not steal! However, his protests went unheard as the furious crowd continued their onslaught.

Some worried witnesses attempted to intercede, asking the mob to turn him over to the police, but their cries were drowned out by those demanding immediate punishment.

He had already died from his injuries when the cops got on the scene.
