Agenda 111 Hospital Chief Urges Nurses And Patients To Respect Each Other In Line Of Duties

The Akuapim NifaHene who doubles as the Chief of Adukrom in the Okere district of the Eastern Region, *Osuodumgya Otutu Ababio V* has urge Nurses and Patients to respect each other in their line of duties to enable quality healthcare delivery in the district.

Speaking to Angel News reporter *Jaman Dehyee Opambour* at the official handing over ceremony of Okere Agenda 111 hospital at Adukrom, noted that, most nurses and patients engage in fighting and quarrelling at various hospitals across the country due to unprofessional behaviors among some Nurses.

According to him, he has witnessed many fights and quarrelling among Nurses and Patients in some health facilities which collapsed the facilities.

Adding to it, he urge patients to give respect to the the health care professionals to enable them perform their rightful duties to serve the Okere district.

He added that, they will setup a monitoring team at the newly commissioned hospital to monitor its daily activities of giving quality healthcare.

On the part of *Rita Akosua Agyei Awaitey*, Eastern Regional Minister speaking to Angel News stated that, workers at hospital should practice maintenance culture to keep the hospital functioning for many decades.

According to her, the hospital has been cited at a strategic place for the neighboring districts to access health care which she thinks will reduce referrals to other hospitals outside the Region.
