Minister For Works, Housing And Water Resources To Support ASHANTIFEST Clean-Up Exercise

The Hon. Minister for Works, Housing and Water Resources, Kenneth Adjei Gilbert, has pledged his support for the AshantiFest region-wide clean-up exercise scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 12.
This was revealed when he met with the Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, in his office at the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council.
Discussions centered around desilting exercises and other critical interventions aimed at enhancing drainage systems to protect lives and property with the onset of the rainy season.
Central to the discussion was the upcoming ASHANTIFEST region-wide clean-up exercise.
Within Greater Kumasi, the clean-up exercise is expected to focus on the following areas: Doctor Mensah, the Kejetia roundabout to the Kwame Antwi area, the Kumasi Zoo area, the Otumfour roundabout, and a mop-up at Alabar.
