Koforidua High Court Has Officially Confirmed Hon. Frank Annoh-Dompreh, MP For Nsawam-Adoagyiri

The Koforidua High Court has officially confirmed Hon. Frank Annoh-Dompreh, MP for Nsawam-Adoagyiri and Minority Chief Whip, as the duly elected Member of Parliament for the constituency.

The election petition filed by Amenorpe Philibert Fummey was dismissed as baseless, and the Petitioner was fined GHC 25,000 in costs.

However, the respondent motion for res judicata was accordingly granted on the grounds that per the supreme court ruling the electoral dispute in Nsawam Adoagyir constituency was brought to a closure.

This ruling upholds the legitimacy of Hon. Annoh-Dompreh’s election and reaffirms the will of the people of Nsawam-Adoagyiri.

The NPP commends the judiciary for defending the integrity of Ghana’s democratic process.
