13 Excavators Confiscated From Juaboso Forest Reserve

13 excavators have been confiscated from the Krokosue Hill forest reserve in the Juaboso District of the Western North Region as part of the government’s efforts to clamp down illegal activities.

The Juaboso forest division, in a joint operation with the military from the national headquarters, has arrested and confiscated 13 excavators from the Krokosue Hills forest reserve in the Juaboso District of the Western North Region.

The exercise was executed due to the high depletion of the forest reserve.

Speaking to the Juaboso forest division manager, Horatius Kofi Asano expressed deep concerns about the state of the forest, particularly the Krokosue Hills, which serves as the largest reserve in the area.

He indicated that the seized excavators have been parked at the Juaboso District Assembly premises.

Horatius Kofi Asano further disclosed that the thugs who were harassing the forest guards have been moved.

According to the manager, the presence of the military has given them enough strength to fight against the illegalities in the reserves.

Meanwhile, Horatius Kofi Asano appealed to residents along the forest reserves to support them to protect the forest.

End.
