Resident Of Saltpond Kranch Krom And Zongo Cry Out Over 3 Month Water Crisis

The residents of Saltpond Kranch Krom and Zongo are facing a severe 3-month water crisis, forcing them to buy water from nearby communities at GHC 50 per gallon or wake up early to fetch water from wells.
However, there’s some relief in sight, The assembly member for Kranch Krom, Hon. Issah Alhasan (also known as Alaska), has commissioned two boreholes to provide water for household activities.
Hon. Alhasan, with support from friends abroad, has drilled and commissioned two boreholes to address the water crisis.
The Chief Imam Shake Asarebutu and residents have applauded Hon. Alhasan for his efforts to alleviate their struggles.
The chief has urged Hon. Alhasan to extend the borehole to nearby communities, citing the success of similar efforts during Ramadan when MP Dr. Ebenezer Prince Kojo Arhine supplied water for fasting.
The water crisis affects many in the Mfantseman municipality, making daily activities challenging, global,703 million people lack access to clean water, and women and girls, student, often bear the burden of collecting water.
Despite the progress, water crises remain a significant challenge in the Mfantseman municipality, with many residents struggling to access water for daily activities. Hon. Issa Alhasan know as (Alaska) has acknowledged the need for continued efforts to address this issues as he has commission 2 well boreholes for his community he promised to add another one to solve the water crisis ongoing in the capital town of Mfantseman municipality of central region.
