Three Teenagers, Including SHS Student, Die In Fatal Accident At Assin Asempanaye
Three teenagers, aged between 16 and 18, have tragically lost their lives in a fatal road accident at Assin Asempanaye in the Assin North District of the Central Region.
The incident occurred when a KIA bus, bearing registration number GT 5727-20 and traveling from Kumasi to Takoradi, crashed the motorbike carrying the three victims.
Eyewitnesses reported that the motorbike’s engine abruptly stalled as it attempted to cross the road, leading to the fatal crash. The impact resulted in the immediate deaths of the rider and the two pillion riders.
The KIA bus and the damaged motorbike have since been transported to the Central North Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD) office in Assin Fosu to assist with ongoing investigations while the bodies of the deceased have been deposited at St. Francis Xavier Hospital morgue.

Meanwhile, the police are urging motorists to exercise heightened caution on the roads to prevent such tragic incidents.
