Two Boys Arrested In Connection With Murder Case And Robbery Of Soldiers

The Boamang Police Command has arrested two suspects, Solomon Owusu alias “Company Hero” and Sumaila Yahaya alias “Royal,” in connection with the murder of Foster Afrifa.

The victim was stabbed to death on April 21, 2024, at Akom following a brief misunderstanding.

One suspect, Kassim Ashiru, was initially arrested and confessed to the crime, naming his accomplices who had gone into hiding.

After being declared wanted, the two suspects were later found and arrested at Kodie Police cells in connection with a different crime.

The Boamang Police Command liaised with Kodie Command to rearrest them and bring them back to face investigations into the murder case.

Interestingly, the two suspects are also believed to be involved in the robbery of soldiers and went away with their mobile phone.

The police are working to gather more evidence and build a strong case against them.

The suspects will be brought before court immediately after the holiday break.

Their photographs have been obtained, and further developments will be communicated in due course.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Sompa Fm Bawah Baidoo, the assembly member of the area Hon Obed Kwarteng had this to say.
