Armed Robbers Are Tormenting Our Lives” – Nwamase Aggrieved Youth

The aggrieved youth of Nwamase in the Kwadaso Municipality of the Ashanti Region have voiced out their concerns about the alarming rate of armed robbery in their community.

According to them, armed robbers frequently attack residents, leaving them traumatized and fearful for their lives. What’s more, the youth claim that blame is often misplaced on them, tarnishing their image and reputation.

The youth made a passionate plea to the authorities and the Roman Catholic Church, which owns an abandoned church building in the area.

They revealed that they had approached the church to convert the abandoned building into a police station or fire station to boost security, but their requests were rejected.

The youth are now appealing to the church and authorities to reconsider their decision and release the building to them for conversion into a police station.

With their lives and image on the line, the youth are urging the authorities to take immediate action to address their security concerns.

They symbolized their plight by wearing red bands on their heads and hands, highlighting the exposed nature of their security.

The youth believe that converting the abandoned church building into a police station would be a significant step towards ensuring their safety and security.
